On the 6th of November the first auditions for our upcoming school musical were held. Ms. Hayes, along with Ms. Hall, Ms. Clifford and Ms. Casey judged the auditions in the study hall.
Each student acted out a part and sang a song from the show. The atmosphere on the morning was tense and nervous with everyone wanting to impress the panel of judges to get the part of their choice.
On the final morning of casting everybody was called to the study hall for the big announcement. Darragh Cusse got the part of Shrek, Elizabeth Kennedy and Grainne Hayes got the part of Fiona, while Robert Childs was cast as the Donkey and Adam Fowler is Lord Farquaad.
The real hard work has started with, rehearsals and set design well underway. All this taking place with Ms. Hayes Ms. Hall, Ms. Casey and Miriam after school and on Saturdays.
